Contract Description:
This project will involve hiring a qualified engineering firm to work with GRMW and CTUIR to design a passage solution at the Townley Dobbin Diversion in Union, OR.  This diversion and fish ladder were replaced around 2010. Since then, the project area has experienced significant erosion around the diversion structure and at the downstream inlet to the fish ladder.  This erosion has resulted in a approximately 18" jump height into the fish ladder.  At low flows this is a major fish passage concern that may affect adult Chinook salmon migration to their upstream spawning areas and all juvenile fish attempting to move upstream.
